At Berkeley Lake Pet Sitting Pet Boarding, we understand the importance of exercise and playtime for dogs. That's why we offer daily dog walking and playtime services to keep your furry friend happy and healthy. We will also water plants, bring out/ in the trash as needed and pick-up mail. We can also administer medicine if required (pills or drops only) at no extra charge.
Our pet sitters at Berkeley Lake Pet Sitting are experienced and passionate about animals. We offer personalized care tailored to each pet's unique needs which we will discuss during the Meet & Greet. Whether it's a single visit or an extended booking, your sitter will ensure your pets receive the attention and affection they deserve. Their routines will not be disrupted while you are away and they will receive lots of cuddles and attention. Your pets are also guaranteed the same sitter over the course of the booking, ensuring consistency and familiarity with your pets.
Your pet sitter is fully licensed, bonded & insured.
Before we book in your pet's care we require a Meet & Greet. During this we will explain our policies, go through the service agreement and pet information, get to know you and your pets and answer any questions you may have. During this visit we will require two keys (two are required as one will be kept in the office vault as back-up during your absence). Keys will be returned within seven days after the final visit or, for regular clients, kept for the next service.
Keeping your pet active is essential for their wellbeing. At Berkeley Lake Pet Sitting, we provide daily exercise and playtime, ensuring that your pets are entertained and engaged. From fun games to walks in the park, our team is committed to maintaining your pet's physical and mental health through active play.
We require that all pets have the required vaccinations prior to the first service (rabies & DHLPP for dogs; rabies & FCRCP for cats).
For dogs we require a minimum of three visits daily to ensure you dog doesn't go too long without a potty break. For cats a minimum of one visit per day is required (additional visits can be added if required).
Morning visits fall between 6:30AM to 9AM and evening visits between 6PM to 9PM. Midday visits are between 11AM to 3PM. We are also able to accommodate other times and this can be discussed at the Meet and Greet.
Working hours are considered 07:00AM to 9:30PM.
We will provide a report after each visit via our reporting provider Time to Pet. These will include activity updates, a photo or video and any other updates which may arise.
Bookings must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Bookings made within 48 hours of service incur a last-minute booking fee of $25.
A minimum of three visits per day is required for doggie vacation care (except for the day of departure or return), and one visit per day for cats.
Upon your return please text that you have returned home safely.
Scheduling will be confirmed via the Time to Pet platform which can be accessed via a web page or through the dedicated Time to Pet app (which would need to be downloaded).

Vacation Care Cancellations: cancellations received with more than 72 hours notice do not incur any additional charge. However, cancellations received within 72 hours of service incur a $75 cancellation fee.
Holiday Cancellations: with the exception of severe weather, life threatening emergencies or a death in the family, Any cancellations prior to a major holiday; ie: Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Thanksgiving with less than a four day notice will result in 50% of the total invoice for scheduled pet care to be paid. We request your understanding that Holiday travel is a peak service time for pet care.
Cancellations for Mid-Day Service: A 72-hour notice is required prior to the scheduled visit. Otherwise payment is due for the time originally agreed upon.
We use Time to Pet to manage our invoicing. Once a reservation has been scheduled we will send a confirmation of the booking as well as a payment link. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and full payment is required prior to the day of departure.
A contract outlining the policies, procedures, client information, medication & waiver/ veterinarian release will be provided for signature via our app, link or paper copy prior to the service commencement. The contract is required to allow us into your home and care for your animals; it also ensures that our policies and procedures are clearly outlined.
