At Berkeley Lake Pet Sitting, we understand the significance of exercise and playtime for dogs. That's why our pet boarding services include daily dog walking services and playtime to ensure your furry friend stays happy and healthy. Additionally, our pet sitter will water your plants, take out the trash as needed, and pick up your mail. If required, we can also administer medicine (pills or drops only) at no extra charge.

At Berkeley Lake Pet Sitting, our experienced and passionate pet sitters provide exceptional care for your furry friends. We offer personalized services tailored to each pet's unique needs, which we will discuss during the Meet & Greet. Whether you require dog walking services, pet boarding, or a one-time visit, your sitter will ensure your pets receive the attention and affection they deserve. Their routines will remain uninterrupted while you are away, with plenty of cuddles and care. Plus, your pets will have the same dedicated sitter throughout the booking, ensuring consistency and familiarity.

Your pet sitter, who provides reliable dog walking services, is fully licensed, bonded, and insured for all pet boarding needs.

Before we schedule your pet's care, which includes our dog walking services and pet boarding options, we require a Meet & Greet. During this visit, we will explain our policies, review the service agreement, and gather important pet information. This is also a great opportunity to get to know you and your pets, as well as to answer any questions you may have. Please note that during this visit, we will need two keys; one will be kept in the office vault as a backup during your absence. The keys will be returned within seven days after the final visit or, for regular clients, they will be kept for future services with our pet sitter.

Keeping your pet active is essential for their wellbeing. At Berkeley Lake Pet Sitting, we offer dog walking services along with daily exercise and playtime to ensure that your pets are entertained and engaged. From fun games to walks in the park, our team is committed to maintaining your pet's physical and mental health through active play. Additionally, our pet boarding services provide a safe and stimulating environment for your pets when you're away, with our dedicated pet sitters ensuring they receive plenty of attention and activity.

We require that all pets have the necessary vaccinations prior to the first service, which includes our dog walking services and pet boarding options (rabies & DHLPP for dogs; rabies & FCRCP for cats). This ensures that your pet sitter can provide a safe and healthy environment.

For our dog walking services, we require a minimum of three visits daily to ensure your dog doesn't go too long without a potty break. For cats, a minimum of one visit per day is required, although additional visits can be added if needed. 

Morning visits fall between 6:30 AM to 9 AM, and evening visits are scheduled from 6 PM to 9 PM. Midday visits take place between 11 AM to 3 PM. We are also able to accommodate other times, and this can be discussed during the Meet and Greet. 

Our working hours for pet boarding and pet sitter services are from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

After each visit, we will provide a report through our reporting provider Time to Pet, which details our dog walking services. These updates will include activity summaries, a photo or video, and any other relevant information that may arise during your pet’s stay, whether they are enjoying our pet boarding or being cared for by our pet sitter.

Bookings for our pet boarding services must be made at least 72 hours in advance. If you make a booking within 48 hours of the service, a last-minute booking fee of $25 will be applied.

For doggie vacation care, we require a minimum of three visits per day (excluding the day of departure or return), while one visit per day is sufficient for cats.

Upon your return, please text us to confirm that you have returned home safely.

Scheduling will be confirmed via the Time to Pet platform, which you can access through a web page or the dedicated Time to Pet app (which you will need to download).

To make a reservation, you can book through the Time to Pet webpage (no app required), via the Time to Pet app (which needs to be downloaded), or by reaching out directly to booking@berkeleylakepetsitting.com for our dog walking services or pet sitter inquiries.

Vacation Care Cancellations: Cancellations received with more than 72 hours notice do not incur any additional charge. However, cancellations received within 72 hours of service for dog walking services incur a $75 cancellation fee.  

Holiday Cancellations: With the exception of severe weather, life-threatening emergencies, or a death in the family, any cancellations prior to a major holiday—such as Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving—with less than four days notice will result in 50% of the total invoice for scheduled pet care, including pet boarding, to be paid. We request your understanding that holiday travel is a peak service time for pet care.  

Cancellations for Mid-Day Service: A 72-hour notice is required prior to the scheduled visit. Otherwise, payment is due for the time originally agreed upon with your pet sitter.

We utilize Time to Pet to effectively manage our invoicing for our dog walking services and pet boarding. Once a reservation has been scheduled, we will send a confirmation of the booking along with a payment link. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, and full payment is necessary prior to the day of departure for our pet sitter services.

A contract outlining the policies, procedures, client information, medication, and waiver/veterinarian release will be provided for signature via our app, link, or paper copy prior to the commencement of our dog walking services or pet boarding. This contract is required to allow us into your home and care for your animals; it also ensures that our policies and procedures are clearly outlined for our pet sitter services.
